4 et 5.10.2011: Le groupe d'experts C-Change visite Belval
In the framework of the INTERREG IB project C-CHANGE (Changing climate, Changing Lives), a group of experts from across North West Europe met at AGORA in Esch/Belval on 4th and 5th October to draft their final recommendations in response to the question, how can citizens, communities and all stakeholders be actively engaged in practical responses to climate change?
These recommendations are informed by project partners’ own experiences in engaging various groups of stakeholders (citizens, politicians, schools, associations, NGOs etc) in their C-Change partner projects. About C-Change:
The C-CHANGE project aims to achieve a change in attitudes and practical responses to the challenges of climate change in city regions, by finding, testing and demonstrating answers to three questions. These form the project's three objectives:
How can citizens, communities and all stakeholders be actively engaged in practical responses to climate change?
How can our new urban landscapes help us to mitigate and adapt to climate change?
How well do spatial planning strategies prepare our city regions to mitigate and adapt to climate change?
