As the new 2016/2017 semester kicks off, around 1000 students will arrive at Belval to join the faculties of law, economics and finance.
Last autumn, 2000 students on the faculty of humanities relocated to the new Campus Belval. This puts the total number of students now at Belval at 3000, which means that from 19 September, around half of the students at the University of Luxembourg will be taught at Belval.
At the end of 2016, around 80 members of staff of the SnT (Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust) are to relocate from Kirchberg to Belval. Early in 2017, a further 400 members of staff on the faculty of natural sciences are to come to Belval from the campuses at Kirchberg and Limpertsberg.
