European Round Table 1–meeting in Belval

Every year, the Round Table No. 1 companies of Europe arrange a meeting that is attended by a number of representatives from each country.

The meeting is held in a different country every year. This year was the fourth time that the meeting took place in Luxemburg. Around 20 representatives of the meeting attended a road show in Belval in order to see the new city quarter for themselves.

Round Table is an international association of young men with many thousands of members all over the world. Its aims include the exchanging of professional and personal experiences among its members, maintaining friendships at home and abroad, and providing social services for the benefit of the general public.

The individual “tables”, as the local clubs with 15-30 members are called, arrange their own local service projects independently. Thus, for instance, once a year the six Luxemburg tables arrange the “Duck Race”, the proceeds from which are used to support social projects and associations in Luxemburg.
