Two French prefects visit Belval
As part of their visit to the French conversion projects in the Alzette Basin, Stéphane Fratacci, prefect of the region Grand-Est, and Emmanuel Berthier, prefect of the region Moselle, also stopped in at Belval last week.
They were accompanied by Jean-Christophe Courtin, director of the "Etablissement Public d’Aménagement Esch-Alzette", which is responsible for the conversion projects on the French side of the Alzette. In Belval, they were welcomed at Agora by Etienne Reuter, president of Agora, and Vera Spautz, mayoress of Esch-Alzette. The event started with information on the current project status at Belval, after which there was a short visit to the blast furnace terrace.
