Global Venture Summit

"Global Venture Summit" (GVS) is coming to Luxembourg for the first time and is to take place here annually until 2022. The venue is the Maison du Savoir in Belval. The event, established in the USA, aims to present the European start-up environment with a special focus on Luxembourg to experienced Silicon Valley venture capital companies and political decision-makers. More than 40 VC companies from Silicon Valley are expected. The participating start-ups not only get the chance to meet numerous investors from all over the world and get them involved in financing and backing their start-up projects, but also to take part in a Pitch Battle and win a US$50,000 investment as well as a trip to Silicon Valley. In addition, they have the opportunity to optimise their presentation at an elevator pitch and obtain feedback. Guest speakers who have announced their attendance include Snoop Dogg (Casa Verde), Billy Zane (Parkpine Capital), Lisa Jackson (Apple) and Christina Russ (Samsung NEXT).
