Virtual Sudstroum Escher Kulturlaf 2020

5 September 2020
On 5 September, what is now the 13th version of this musical race will take place as a virtual special edition due to Corona restrictions. For the first time ever, runners are able to participate in the race from home or even from their holiday resort. However, those who do not want to miss the typical atmosphere of the Escher Kulturlaf can integrate Belval in their route this year and stop at the Kulturlaf stand near the blast furnaces (the usual social distancing rules apply here). As usual, entrants can choose between a route of 10 km and one of 10 miles (16 km). And there's no need to miss out on the musical entertainment this year. Between 3pm and 7pm, musicians will be playing live from Belval or from their homes. The whole event will be broadcast via the organisers' live stream. As a special treat, all the runners who inform the organisers of their times will receive a T-shirt in the design of the special version. The voucher can be redeemed in Asport shops in Ingeldorf or Wickrange from 1 October. Children will be invited to design their own start numbers, and the prettiest designs will win a prize.
