5 Awards for Belval

On 18 September, Belval received the coveted “Prix d’Excellence Award” from “FIABCI”, the Luxembourg section of the International Real Estate Federation, not once, but five times.
In the category “Masterplan”, it went to the Belval masterplan produced by Jo Coenen & Co (now represented by MARS) appointed by the development company AGORA. The building of the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) by architects Claude Vasconi and Jean Petit received the special office award. Station Belval-University by Jim Clemes won the category “public building” and the Technoport by Arlette Schneiders received the award in the categories “heritage” and “industrial”.  The national award for the masterplan qualifies AGORA for FIABCI's international Excellence Awards, which are being presented in Taiwan in 2013. The Excellence Award is the second award that the development company AGORA has received this year. In June, the construction of the “Place de l’Académie” at the heart of Belval received the “Bauhärepreis”, which is presented annually by the Luxemburg Chamber of Architects and Engineers (OAI).
